Keeping Sales Tax in a Separate Bank Account

By Julio Tome from Cloverdale Mowing

Collecting sales tax is another job you need to do when it comes to running your lawn care business.

While your own state or province may have different rules, you still need to pay sales tax back to the government.

In this video, I want to share a quick tip on keeping better track of that money.

By keeping the sales tax in a separate account, you can avoid spending it accidentally on personal purchases as opposed to business ones.

To make sure you separate it properly, take the sales tax at the end of the month and deposit it into a separate account just for your sales tax remittance.

It makes life a lot easier, and I hope this tip makes your tax accounting a lot easier too!
