Proper maintenance of your snow plow is key to “making the dough” during the winter season. You want to ensure that you have performed proper maintenance on your rig and hopper so that when your clients need snow removal services, your business will be able to deliver.

Start by inspecting your rig. You want to make sure that the plow’s blade still has a good amount of life left. You should also check behind your plow to ensure the mechanical springs and cylinders look good. You’ll want to make sure you have some shovels and a manual salt spreader for any smaller areas.
