Mine is the Troy-Bilt Flex mower. used it as an A-line machine for a solid year. Just now picked up an Toro 3225 32" cut zero turn mower. I took off the 32" blade and put on a 22" and so much better cut and no scalping.

Gravely ProTurn 148 with bagger system and a Gravely ZT HD 60. They eat up the grass and saves me a lot of time.

They all make money, and if I lost any one of them I couldn't continue making money. (I guess as long as the customer never noticed that I stopped edging/weed-eating/etc) just kidding!

I used the first one I got commercially for 10 years until it started looking older, and I still have it as a backup mower now. I purchased another new one in 2014 for cosmetic reasons. it however was stolen in July of 2015, so out came the 10 year old Honda to save the day and finish off the season. I then purchased a 3rd one at the start of last season to replace the stolen one.

Speaking of items getting stolen...

Years ago I bought a Snapper straight shaft string trimmer / brush cutter.
I had always heard good things about snapper and it wasn't until I read the fine print on the manual that I found out they had been absorbed by White/Electrolux/Poulan-Weed Eater/ whatever they were calling themselves that week.

Once you got it started it worked great. It was a pain to start. I had about decided that when the rope broke and it went flying across the yard I would just let it go to wherever it landed. Rope never broke. I also decided when it broke I would just throw it away and get something better. It wouldn't break. Finally it was stolen. I was tempted to go to the hospital and look for who came in with a shoulder injury. That was probably my thief!

I hate thieves but that guy probably did me a favor.

I agree I am still using a 10 year old HRC-216 and it has had a rough life, looks rough too, but has been taken care of.

While I love my mower, I couldn't do what I do without my Trimmer(s), (PAS 266 & 280 with speed feed head). From trimming, edging & other trouble spots most of my clients won't do, that seems to be where they notice the difference in their mowing & trimming compared to that of a professional. Yes, we try to put lines in the yard & all of that, but I have certainly noticed that it seems to be all of the small things, (crisp edges, no overgrowing poles or other areas adjacent to the grass, under hedges).
