Yardbook 100% all the way. It is unbelievable easy to use and my employee can even clock in and clock out through their app. My clients have also enjoyed getting their invoice through yardbook because it gives them an option at the bottom of the email to pay online which is very handy.

Honestly it has so many tools that I haven't even been able to utilizing them all yet.

Is there any other good apps or desktop stuff for landscaping other than yardbook, quickbooks,or serviceautopilot? Preferably something free since I'm kinda just starting off

I've been using Quickbooks for 3 years. I also use Yardbook for scheduling jobs.

Yardbook for tracking income and invoices. Really nice feature to be able to generate a report that shows ALL income without having to add it up manually from paper tracking. I also keep track of income and expenses on my own spreadsheet that keeps a running tally of the per month and per year balance. Since this is my first season (part time at that) you will see my annual number still a negative due to purchases/expenses exceeding income/revenue.

EDIT: OK, it is doing that weird attachment thing again. The first photo you see is not even on my computer, but for some reason is attaching and cannot be removed without removing my spreadsheet photo. If a Mod sees this, please get a developer to check into it.

2nd EDIT: My bad, this forum just shrinks the original photo down without preserving the file size, so there is no way you would have been able to read the spreadsheet. Too tiny.

Just recently switched to Yardbooks. I was using Wix, (where I created my website), but found the platform not nearly as robust as I needed. So now I'm getting familiar with Yardbooks, & it does considerably more than Wix. I have a lot to learn yet, but so far, so good.

Quickbooks. Great for starting out. You can build as you go. great Point of sale. 2% across the board for credit cards usage.

I just started using Yardbook the beginning of this season. I like but there are many features I have yet to be able to use to my advantage. It will take me or someone a lot of hours of data entry to be able to use its best features. Definitely could use upgrades to the way it is organized, some things are difficult or confusing. I used QuickBooks from the start which was great but it is expensive (had a behind the scenes version)

I have been using it about 7 months now, thought the same thing as first. I don't disagree some stuff isn't organized great, but I will say you learn where it is at and can quickly navigate to what you need after some practice.

It is primarily web based. There is an android app but it is anemic.
