Two of the best oils that I have used have been the Echo Red Armor and the Amsoil Saber. I've been very pleased with the overall results of both these oils in my equipment.

I use this 2 cycle oil pro-mix https://www.lowes.com/pd/Pro-Mix-16-oz-2-Cycle-Synthetic-Blend-Engine-Oil/1159323#

already comes measured for all mixes, just add to 1 gallon of fuel. It's cheaper. Iv'e been doing that for almost two years and so far my machines run great. I have thought of buying the other brand oils and other mixed fuel already made but just haven't.

This year I've used Echo power blend and so far it looks like its been working fine. My machine does not smoke with the power blend as it did with the other brand.

Opt-2
https://www.amazon.com/Opti-2-2-Cycle-Lubricant-Stabilizer-Treatment/dp/B01LDIOHHE/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1510595908&sr=8-2&keywords=opti+2+with+pump

The pump is so you don't have to measure. Two pumps equals a gallon. I keep the gallon in the garage and I fuel up once a week. For emergencies I load up a used BBQ container with enough to make 2.5 gallons while I am out.

This is my First year, but I did a lot of searching before I found what I wanted. The key for me was the fact that you don't need several oils for different mixes. It works with 50:1, or 40:1, or whatever.

I recently ran out of the fuel stabilizer and bought a gallon. They have a pump for that one too. Now I just keep refilling the other container and keep that in the truck as well.

In most cases when it's smoking and not due to engine problems, it will be because their is to much oil to fuel ratio. Infact when I mixed I don't put the full amount of oil in the mix.

I currently run all Stihl equipment and had used Stihl HP Ultra until May I believe when I purchased a case of Echo Red Armor and will never go back. My equipment is running so much better now.

For my vehicle and mowers I will only use Amsoil.

Used to run Amsoil Saber but now primarily use the Red Armor because of the additives

I have always run Husqvarna oil through my Husqvarna tools. I also after learning about the red armour I will be giving it a try in spring and see how the equipment runs. I will post my findings.

I like experimenting with different oils and different trimmer lines in different trimmer heads and different types of power equipment it's a lot of fun and you never know some of the things that you find you tend to like more than other things and every product has its pros and cons

Since I run all Echo equipment, I use Echo oil, both the regular oil and the Red Amour when I can get it. I like the Red Armour the best as there is less carbon build up.

I have used opti-2 full synthetic or stens mix full synthetic for ever. Did run red max for last few years got really expensive with our dealers around here. So went back to opti-2 and stens. Have had super luck with all these oils I mentioned.

I like using ECHO's Red Armour oil. It make the 2 cycle engines last longer before clean out the carbs.
