What are the differences in the straight shaft edger attachment and the curved shaft??
The Curved shaft comes in at about $50 cheaper. Is the straight shaft worth the difference in price? I'll be running it on a PAS-266.

Thanks!

Depends on your own preference. To me, it is definitely worth the extra money. It just feels better to use. If you'll be using it a lot, I'd spring for it.

The stright edger gets more power stright to gear box. The curved flex cable take away power and don't last as long. When using a stright edger you also can see what your cutting so I feel it's better then leaning over.

Thanks! That definitely answered my question. I'm 6'6" so a curved shaft simply wouldn't work for me.

DelsLawnCare nailed it. Also straight shaft is not used on the pas-225 because of the power to gearbox.

I have a curved shaft one from Husqvarna. It is their pas. It is the only one they offered and I don’t mind it. I have only ever fun it and have never tried a straight shaft one. So who knows I might not like it after I try one that is straight.
