Today I want to talk about having insurance for your lawn care business. While it might seem an expense you can avoid when starting, I know from personal experience that it's worth having.
Think of the things that could go wrong.
If you damage someone's property
If you're trimming, and you pick up a rock and it hits a pedestrian
If you back a zero turn into a client's fence.
Making sure you have insurance against theft is also key. I had my trailer stolen, with all the equipment in it, and it was never recovered.
While I'd had insurance for 10 years and never used it, that one time more than made up for the cost of the unused premiums.
So, I hope this video helps, guys, and happy mowing!
