How to Change the Oil on a SCAG V-Ride II Stand On Zero Turn Rider

By Wyatt Bedell from Wyatt's Lawn Service

Hi guys, Wyatt here again, and today I want to show you how to change the oil on a SCAG V-Ride II Stand On Zero Turn Rider.

This is a short and sweet video showing you what you’re going to need for this.

As you saw in the video, to keep my SCAG V-Ride II in top condition, I use the following products:

  • For the oil, I use 10W-40, tough you can also use 10W-30

  • Oil filter. Based on what mower you have, check with your dealer on what filter you’ll need

  • An oil drain pan. I cheated a little here, and used a cut-off empty laundry detergent container

  • A 10mm socket

Before starting your oil change, make sure you run the engine for about 5 minutes, to let it warm up - this lets the oil come out easier.

Anyway, guys, I hope you enjoyed this video. I love my SCAG V-Ride II, so I want to look after it. Regular oil change when needed is one way to do this.

Well, I hope that helps, guys, and I’d love to hear if this video helped, and what tips you’d give for an oil change!
