Overview of the ECHO WP-1000 High Flow Water Pump

By Mark Thomas from Thomas Homes, Inc

Hi guys, today I want to show you the ECHO WP-1000 High Flow Water Pump, and how I use it to be more effective on some of my spring clean ups.

In Michigan, when the snow melts, it can leave a lot of areas with standing water that are usually dry in the summer. Using the WP-1000 lets me clean that up and be more productive in my day.

As you can see from the video, I find a gas-powered water pump is the way to go for multiple uses.

Some quick specs:

  • The main unit has a dry weight of 12.3lbs

  • 10ft of 1” suction hose

  • Inlet strainer

  • 21.2cc engine

  • Maximum suction lift of 24.6'

  • Discharges up to 28 gal. Per min and 1,680 gal. Per hr

I also added a PVC pump discharge hose with a 1” adaptor to get more volume of water going.

I hope this helps, guys, and let me know if you’ve used the ECHO WP-1000 High Flow Water Pump, or any others, and how it compares.
