When it comes to using the right, and best, tools for the job, I’d like to think I know a useful and productive piece of equipment when I use it. The ECHO PPT-2620 Power Pruner and Pole Saw is a good example.
In this video, I want to share why I like this product, and also what I wasn’t so keen on.
Some of the pros and cons of the PPT-2620:
Pros:
The pole extends from 107” to 146”
It has a 12” bar and chain, powered by 25.4cc pro-grade engine
The drive shaft is pretty lightweight
The handle is one of my favourite pieces, with its looped design
Pro-grade two-stage air filter, which is really easy to get to and switch
20.6 fluid ounce fuel tank that’s transparent, so you can see your fuel level
2-year commercial warranty
Cons:
The pole clamp could easily get broken
It feels like the inside of the pole arm could do with some strength upgrading (in fairness, as you’ll see by the video, the reason for this could also apply to other brands)
I hope this helps, guys, and let me know if you’ve used the PPT-2620 and what you think of it.
