This Week on YouTube: August 11, 2018

Hey, gang! Here's another set of awesome videos posted this week on You Tube by our community of pros. Spend some time this weekend checking out the great advice below. You won't regret it!

Your Equipment is an Investment

UAG member Johny Crooks of Blades of Grass Lawn Care shared this video about the importance of maintaining good equipment. Taking care of it, trading it when necessary, assigning employees to pieces of equipment - learn Johny's tips to make sure you're making the most of your tools.

Simple Ways To Make More Money

They say that simplicity is genius, so you'll definitely like these three business ideas from Jacob Godar (Scooters Lawn Care). While most of his tips seem pretty simple, you can really make a huge difference with small adjustments such as routing or changing the number of people working on a lawn.

How to Get Rid of Doveweed

It won't be our great selection of YouTube gems without a helpful "How-To" video. This is a shout out to Paul of DoMyOwn. In his video Paul goes over what Doveweed is, the best ways to keep it out of your yard, and if it is in your yard, how to finally get rid of it.

Backyard Landscaping Project

It can be inspiring to watch someone else do a job. Landscaper Carson Schifsky of Schifsky Landscaping is starting and finishing an interesting backyard project all in one video. Enjoy!

Mowing a Daycare Lawn

One final video this week is another impressive project. This is a shout out to UAG member Tyler Guess of Clean Cut Lawns, who demonstrates the mowing of a tricky daycare lawn. The grass is wet and tall, and there are obstacles in the yard such as children's playground items and a playhouse. Interesting one to watch!
