What You Need to Know About Leaf Blower Bans in Your State

By Brad Behr by Copper Creek Cuts

One of the things we’re hearing a lot about at the moment is the possibility of leaf blower band across various states in the U.S.

This comes from legislation that looks to limit not only the noise from gas-powered leaf blowers, but also the use of these types of blowers, period.

However, as I share in this video, it’s not quite all doom and gloom yet.

As you can see, there are different types of bans:

  • No ban (ideal!)

  • Partial bans

  • Full bans

Palm Beach, Florida, for example, has a partial based on acreage. In Miami Beach, it comes down to how long you’re blowing (the longer the blowing, the quieter the blowing needs to be).

Full bans are different altogether, and your local state information office can advise you if you’re not sure.

Well, I hope that helps, guys, and I’d love to hear how you’re managing this hot topic - let me know in the comments.
