When is the Best Time to Buy Bigger and Better Equipment?

By Wyatt Bedell from Wyatt's Lawn Service

Hi guys, Wyatt here again, and today I want to share my thoughts on when you should buy bigger and better equipment for your lawn care / landscape business.

It stems from a question I was asked on Instagram, so I thought I'd give you some ideas in this video.

Ultimately, I think it all comes down to justifying the purchase. For example, if you have a fairly cheap piece of equipment currently and want to upgrade, that could be justified.

But you need to make sure you have the jobs that need the equipment you're considering - it's pointless upgrading to a zero turn if you don't have any customers that need that mower, for instance.

Look at your customers, look at your jobs, and the cash flow you have, and be realistic when it comes to what you can afford, so you have a long and successful business ahead of you.

Well, I hope that helps, guys, and I'd love to hear if this video helped, and what tips you might have about knowing when it's time to upgrade your equipment.
