4 Things I Love about this Backpack Blower: Testing the ECHO PB-770T
April 12, 2019
In my last video, I looked at the ECHO PAS-2620 with multi-attachments, and was really impressed with the amount of jobs that it could help me with this year.
In this video, I’m going to take a look at the ECHO PB-770T backpack blower. With spring finally here (well, mostly - still getting some snow here!), I thought I’d put this to the test with some leaf clean-ups, as well as some of that snow I mentioned.
This blower moves leaves like nobody’s business! Sure, the new ECHO PB-8010 might be more powerful, but this 770T backpack blower is still a great one for less cost.
Some of the features I really liked are:
- Bigger air filter, keeping the engine cleaner
- The spark plug cover, that keeps moisture out
- The gas tank can hold more than an hour’s worth of work on one tank
- The blower tube is bigger, making it easier to blow bigger jobs
If there’s anything I would change about this blower, is that it’s a little loud. But then I guess that’s what good ear protectors are for! Overall, the ECHO PB-770T backpack blower is a great piece of equipment, and one I’d highly recommend if the newer models from ECHO and STIHL are a little above your budget.
