How to Come Up With a Price for Pressure Washing

May 20, 2020

Hi guys, Jimmy Massey here from Massey Landscape Service, and today I want to talk about how to come up with a price for pressure washing.

I was reminded of pricing for pressure washing the other day, and how it took my business a while to come up with the right formula, so I want to share that with you today.

As you can see from the video, this all came from one of the first pressure jobs we did, where we spent a good 3-4 hours doing the work, and realizing we'd undersold ourselves. So, some tips you want to remember are:

  • Don't use just a single pressure washer. This simple approach will save you a few hours when on a job.

  • Price a job based on a standard price, with reasons for price increases from the base price - size of house, number of stories, how simple the house design is, etc.

  • Consider buying a pressure washer extender. This will save you time when it comes to higher properties.

  • Types of porch - if there are porches that are made up of a lot of banners, this is going to add up, too.

I hope you enjoyed these tips, guys, and see you next time!
