How to Safely Sharpen Your Mower Blades

When it comes to keeping your mower blades sharp and ready for the jobs you're working on, you can either take them to a dealer, or you can do it yourself.
I prefer to do it myself, mainly because I know how to, and I enjoy it (and it also saves me money!).
So I just wanted to share this video, to show you how to safely sharpen your blades.
Using the Toro Z Master mower that I bought for this year as an example, you can see how I sharpen the blades, and what you should be doing to safely sharpen your blades.

Use a clamp to secure the blade (along with a screwdriver)

Make sure you have your gloves and safety glasses on

Sharpen the top of the blade at an angle (I don't touch the bottom, apart from taking off the burs)

Scrape off any built-up grass and dirt

Use your balancer to check if either side of your blade needs more work
