Stick Edge Hedge Trimmers vs Handheld Hedge Trimmers: Which 1 is Better?

Hi guys, Brad here from Copper Creek Cuts, and today I wanted to take a look at stick edge hedge trimmers versus handheld hedge trimmers, and which one you should use.
As usual, this is a personal preference, and your own mileage may vary, but here's what I prefer.
As you can see in the video, my own personal preference is stick edge hedge trimmers, for a number of reasons:

They're more ergonomic, and removes the need to bend over or stoop like you do with a handheld hedge trimmer.

You can reach more things a lot easier with a stick edge hedge trimmer.

They open up the opportunity for more jobs due to their flexibility.
There are some cons to a stick edge hedge trimmer. For example, the longer pole can be awkward for smaller or round shrubs, and they can be more costly than a handheld hedge trimmer.
