Things to consider before buying
Hi everyone! I am Scott Morse, owner of Arch City Sealcoating and UAG member for 2022. I’m happy to share my thoughts with the ECHO Means Business community on the new ECHO’s Battery-Powered Lawn Mower. As you may already know, ECHO has launched a line of eFORCE battery-powered lawn care tools. As someone who’s always excited to try new things for my business, I’m testing the ECHO DLM-2100SP Battery-Power Lawn Mower these days.
I find this battery-powered mower really impressive and easy to move around. I like how easy it is to work with it and the results I see when the mowing is done. Whether you’re starting your landscaping business or a seasoned professional, I recommend giving this practical mower a try.

Hey there, it’s Scott from Arch City Sealcoating — hope everybody’s doing well. Just wanted to give a little walk-around and introduction to this new mower: the ECHO DLM-2100SP.
Really impressive little unit. Super easy to move around, easy controls — it even has that turbo mode! And for those of us that can’t stop? It’s got a headlight, even!
Easy access to the battery compartment — and it holds two of the new ECHO eFORCE 56V batteries.
This one came with the 5.0Ah battery, but I believe you can get a 2.5Ah version as well, which is handy if you’re using that battery for other tools in the eFORCE lineup.
And if you’ve ever struggled in the past to set the cutting height on a mower — literally this easy — one-handed, no struggle at all.
Alright, so let’s talk about this.
First impressions of the ECHO DLM-2100SP? It’s a really nice mower. Perfect for a home user.I’ve been using, in the past, a much larger commercial-sized mower — I believe it’s a 27" cut — so a little bit bigger. But it’s bulky, it’s heavy, and it’s not comfortable.
This is everything my other mower isn’t:- Super maneuverable
- Very lightweight
- Comfortable to use
I didn’t even engage the self-propelled motor for mowing — other than just to see how it felt. I pushed the whole lawn with it by hand and wasn’t even winded or bothered.
The turbo mode is pretty cool — if you get to some deeper sections, you can give it a little more oomph.
Battery life? It just seems to last forever. I mowed the whole lawn and the battery was just starting to blink down to three-quarters full. That’s really nice.
Everyone trying an electric mower wonders:
“How long is the battery going to last? Am I going to be swapping or recharging constantly?”
And that doesn’t appear to be an issue with this unit at all.
Overall: Definitely a thumbs up from me. Really like it.Hope you enjoyed this little review, and I’ll catch up with you guys again later in the summer after I’ve put a few more hours on it — we’ll see how it holds up.
Alright, thanks a lot everybody — take care!
